Dermatology Update

Course Overview

BBO Training has delivered dermatology-focused education since 2017 and is pleased to work in collaboration with Dermatology Education Partnership Ltd to provide high-quality dermatology update training for Primary Care.

This one-day Dermatology Update is designed for registered healthcare professionals already managing dermatological conditions in Primary Care who wish to refresh and advance their knowledge in line with current evidence and guidance.

The programme moves from guideline updates and evidence-based practice through to practical clinical decision-making and integration into local services. Particular emphasis is placed on skin lesion recognition, safe cancer identification, facial dermatoses, and improving prescribing confidence.

Dermatology represents a significant proportion of the Primary Care workload. As more skin care is managed within the community, clinicians require robust assessment skills, confidence in topical therapies, and clear understanding of referral thresholds. This course supports safe, effective and patient-centred dermatology care within General Practice.
